SciTech Girls is an event sponsored by Women in STEM Empowerment Club (WISE) at Napa Valley College for middle school and high school girls (7th, 8th, 9th, & 10th grades).

This event includes interactive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) workshops, a panel of professional STEM women, and lunch. The purpose of this event is to introduce girls to STEM career fields and consider those fields as future careers.

Are there age requirements to enter the event?

Yes, this event is for girls enrolled in 7th, 8th, 9th, or 10th grade.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Unfortunately, we do not provide transportation to this event. However, there is free parking available at the two parking lots adjacent to Napa Valley College’s McCarthy Library.

What should I bring to the event?

Please bring your printed ticket and a pen/pencil. We will provide snacks and lunch for the girls and note-taking material.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, we prefer you arrive with a printed ticket.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?

No, we would like the name on the ticket to match the child’s name to maintain accountability.
