On Tuesday, October 16th, the Law Academy sophomores from Jesse Bethel High school visited the Vallejo Courthouse where they were able to sit in on several different court proceedings happening that morning.

This included a jury selection for a high profile felony case, and opening statements in a domestic violence case.

Afterward, they heard from several different legal professionals: judges, prosecutors, public defenders, private lawyers, probation officers, and police officers. The legal panel discussed their upbringing, their pathway into law, and their passion for the work.
